Diagnosis

Differs from Rhipsalis crispata and R. oblonga in its red fruits (instead of white) and in its golden yellow flowers (instead of whitish or pale yellowish).A

Etymology

Named in honour of Wilhelm Barthlott, discoverer of this species.
