Notes

A large genus of 142 species, which has never been revised. The study by Klak & al. (2013) suggests that Delosperma is not monophyletic in its current circumscription. A detailed morphological and molecular study is needed to establish generic boundaries within the Delosperma clade, in which several other smaller genera, including Corpuscularia, Ectotropis, Mestoklema, Trichidiadema and Frithia take part (Klak & al. 2013).A
