Notes

The genus was resurrected based on its very distinctive flower and pollen morphology by Borsch & Pedersen (1997) and also appears to be monophyletic based on molecular phylogenetic analysis (Sánchez del-Pino & al. 2009; Borsch & al. 2011).A,B,C,D
