Notes
This species, known only from Zaire, is closely related to G. diffusa but it should easily be distinguished by the significantly shorter pedicels up to 6 mm long. It also occurs within a totally distinct phytochorion. Other differences are the narrower leaves, up to 2 -5 mm wide as opposed to 2-6 mm in G. diffusa, and smaller flowers, c. 3 mm diam.A
