Notes

Five mostly Mediterranean species. Formerly treated as Minuartia subg. Rhodalsine (McNeill 1962), Harbaugh & al. (2010), Greenberg & Donoghue (2011), and Kool (2012) each found Rhodalsine to be sister to Spergula and Spergularia.A
