Notes

Reaumuria is a xerohalophytic genus with c. 13 shrubby and rarely annual species occurring in deserts and semi-deserts of Middle East and Central Asia (Bobrov 1966; Zohary & Danin 1970). Except for one polymorphic species group (R. alternifolia (Labill.) Britten), Reaumuria species are characterized by cylindrical succulent leaves.
