Notes

Molecular and phylogenetic analyses have shown that the New World species with terete to semi-terete leaves formerly treated as members of Talinium form a monophyletic genus within Montiaceae (Phemeranthus; Carolin 1987; Hershkovitz & Zimmer 2000; Applequist & Wallace 2000; Nyffeler & Eggli 2010; Ocampo & Columbus 2010).A,B,C,D,E
