Notes
Hohmann & al. (2006) show that this monotypic genus belongs to Betoideae-Hablitzieae. Oreobliton thesioides Durieu & Moq. is a subshrub distributed on calcareous rocks in Tunisia and Algeria. Together with its sister genus Aphanisma it represents an interesting example of a western Eurasian – western North American disjunction (Kadereit & Baldwin 2012).A,B,C
